My wife, Regan and I are retired and live in Cary.  Regan is a Nurse Practitioner, and I'm the former Dean of the College of Natural Resources at NC State.  I did a lot of boating as a kid in California.  We lived in Texas 25 years, where I got into marathon canoe racing, including the annual, 260 mile, 4-day Texas Water Safari.  Regan and I do a bit of river and lake kayaking, including the annual Hope Floats trip down the Neuse River, Raleigh to Beaufort.  We've taken sailing lessons two summers in Oriental.  We bought this Albin so we can poke around the sounds, possible taking our kayaks with us.
